Our Place in the Neighborhood
Concord Soccer has been part of North Wilmington for more than four decades. Since 1979, we have brought players, families, coaches, and volunteers together around a shared love of the game and a belief that soccer can help young people grow.
We are a nonprofit club, which means our focus stays where it belongs: on the players, the families who trust us, and the community we call home. Every season, neighbors become teammates, coaches become mentors, and Saturday mornings become part of the memories families carry with them long after the final whistle.
Concord is proud to serve families across Delaware and the surrounding region. Our roots are local, and our commitment to this community is personal.

The Moments That Bring Us Together
Soccer gives us more than a schedule of practices and matches. It gives our community reasons to gather, celebrate, and enjoy the game together.
Spring 3v3 Tournament
We closed out the spring season with a burst of creativity and competition at our Concord Soccer 3v3 Intraclub International Tournament. SDP and Representative players formed teams of three or four, each choosing a country to represent with costumes, colors, and plenty of personality. The Egypt Pharaohs were a fan favorite. With prizes, fast-paced matches, and plenty of sideline smiles, it was a fresh and imaginative way to bring players and families together to celebrate the game we all love.
Final Watch Party
Concord Soccer families packed Penn Cinema for our Final Watch Party in July, turning the big screen into a big community moment. Players and parents cheered on Spain and Argentina, shared concessions, and took in every nail-biting minute as the match moved into overtime. Before kickoff, families submitted their predictions, and a few lucky winners headed home with Philadelphia Union tickets. Spain lifted the trophy, but the best part was seeing our Concord Soccer community come together for the world’s biggest match.

Every child who wants to play should have the opportunity to be part of the game. That belief shapes the way Concord Soccer operates.
As a nonprofit, every dollar that comes into the club goes back into the fields, coaching, and programs that serve our players. We work to keep fees within reach, offer financial assistance through a simple, discreet process, and rely on the time and care of volunteers who help make the experience possible.
Accessibility also means creating a place where every player can participate with confidence. Through TOPSoccer, Concord provides meaningful soccer experiences for young athletes with cognitive, emotional, or physical disabilities. It is one more way we live out a simple belief: soccer is for everyone.

Concord Soccer is grateful for the local fields, schools, and organizations that help create opportunities for players throughout North Wilmington. We take that support seriously.
